Formerly known as Marina Iti, the Taravana Yacht Club's new management is poised to bring a relaxing yet fun atmosphere to one of the most beautiful yacht settings in the country.

Located on the southern most point of Tahaa, French Polynesia's "Vanilla Island", Taravana Yacht Club offers views of the sunrise and sunset and one of the safest natural harbors in the country, the majestic bay of Apu.

Taravana Yacht Club is also the closest point to the sister island of Raiatea where all conveniences can be found, yet it has the remoteness and calm that only Tahaa can offer.

RESTAURANT

Returning to the kitchen are renowned husband and wife team Robert and Cindy, who are famous for such dishes as seafood fondues and “Vana” soufflés...

Their commitment to good service and great food has garnered them a huge local following.

Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for lunch, dinner and breakfast on demand, our restaurant is one of the finest on Tahaa. Come and enjoy our local style dinning room with views of the sunset.

Our "a la carte" menu includes seafood, local fish, or first choice imported beef as well as home-made desserts. Reasonably priced and large portions will satisfy you after a long day at sea.

Reservations are recommended, especially during the high season (july to september) but not necessary. We are open to private groups and special events.

Dining Hours:
CLOSED WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS

Breakfast: must reserve the night before
Lunch: 11:30am to 1:30pm
Dinner: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Tuesday Night = "Polynesian night" - Every Tuesday Night come and enjoy a Local Dish Buffet followed by a traditional dance show whose members live in our same bay.

Reservations required before 12:00pm on Tuesday at the latest.

YACHT SERVICES

Mooring Balls:
As of June 2006, we have 5 serviced moorings in front of the Yacht Club available for Restaurant Users.

Users must check-in at restaurant for use. Fee waived with dinner at restaurant.

Mooring Fee:
2000 cfp per night

Bread:
The baggettes are bought fresh from Raiatea and frozen to ensure freshness, just put in oven for a few minutes to restore original crisp.

Baggette: 50 cfp

Dock Water:
Our dock is one of the easiest watering points in the country. Come and fill up your boat with clean Tahaa ground water.

Fill per Boat: 1.000 cfp

Laundry:
Brand new 10kg american washing machine. Sorry no drying service...

Wash: 1500 cfp per load

Internet:
2 options: Iaoranet Wi-Fi: the popular local service broadcasts a wi-fi connection into the moorings. You may transfer your time bought at Taravana yacht Club to any of the other 13 Iaoranet locations.

Time cards sold here: 1 hr: 700 cfp, 5 hrs: 2700 cfp, 10 hrs: 5000 cfp, 20 hrs: 8000 cfp, 50 hrs: 15000 cfp

Cubes As valuable as gold in this country! Our high quality ice cubes made from filtered water are perfect for your drinks or cooling down fresh goods. Our huge capacity will fill up any size cooler or you may buy in our convenient bags.
