Exploration Dives
For those seeking a customized private scuba diving experience of Bora bora, Diveasy's exploration dives are an ideal choice for an exciting yet relaxing day of exploration.
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel, with all the equipment needed for the day organized and ready on board. (no wasted time in your car travelling around the island, and no shuttle service with a strict schedule to respect).
All you have to do is enjoy the sights on the way to the diving spot!
Accessible to certified divers, these Exploration dives take place in the famous multi- colored lagoon as well as in the ocean just past the coral reefs that encircle it.
Each spot displays a particular fauna and coral formation.
The diving depth varies according to your level, but most spots allow diving from around 6 to 30 metres below the surface.
Dives in Bora Bora are easily accessible, except for drift diving which requires a little more experience. It is advised to start with an easy dive to discover the leopard rays, the blacktip reef sharks and the lemon sharks.
With Diveasy, you will always be offered the choice of your diving spot as long as your level and weather conditions permit it.
* Hot and cold drinks, fruits, and cookies are served on board and professional underwater photo and video services are available on request.
* Duration: One dive is around 3 hours, depending on the spot, or you can take up to two subsequent dives lasting around 4 hours total.
First Dives:
Diveasy is the perfect setup for those experiencing their very first scuba dives!
Once you got adapted to the marine environment with your swimming fins, mask and snorkel, you can begin the scuba diving instructional portion of the day lasting about 45 minutes.
You will be offered the choice to dive in the lagoon, a perfectly adapted spot for a first diving experience: white-sand sea bed, gorgeous coral formations, and a myriad of dazzling shapes and sizes of multicolour fishes.
Or, if you and your instructor feel you're ready, you may also try diving outside the lagoon, in the ocean, where you can often benefit from better visability than the lagoon, and where you will discover the typical external reef slope fauna: trevallies, triggerfishes, surgeonfishes and maybe even some blacktip reef sharks.
Because it's a first experience, the diving depth does not exceed 6 metres below the surface.
Cold drinks and snacks will be served as you get out of the water. Diveasy also provides professional underwater photo and video services on request.
*Duration: around 3 hours.
Interactive Snorkeling:
In addition to scuba diving, Diveasy has developed the first interactive underwater snorkeling trail in Bora Bora.
Accessible to everyone since it only requires swim fins, a mask, and a snorkel, this educational eco-discovery tour allows you to discover the amazing wealth comprising the famous coral reef ecoysystems found throughout French Polynesia.
Diveasy's sophisticated, yet simple underwater communication system allows for an enriched diving experience by allowing your guide to give comprehensive explanations of the underwater marine life of Bora Bora.
Equipped with special "communication snorkels", you’ll be able to listen to peaceful music and pre-recorded comments about the coral ecosystem while you dive...
In addition,
specific comments on each species encountered (including corals, fishes, shellfishes, etc.), and shown by the guide will be broadcasted on the fly for a more interactive experience.
Submersible cards distributed to everyone will also help you to identify quickly and easily the most common species of the lagoon.

* Comments are available in French, English, Italian and Japanese.
